For most people, we'd recommend Pro. It's the full product: a personalised content strategy, 20 posts/month, unlimited edits, performance tracking, and scheduling straight to LinkedIn. Starter's the lowest-cost option if you want to write fewer posts with fewer edits and aren't fussed about having a strategy to follow. And if you'd rather a copywriter do the generating and editing for you, our Done-For-You service is a great solution.
On billing, we recommend 3 months as the minimum because LinkedIn's algorithm takes around 90 days to work out your niche before it starts pushing your content to the right people.
Both write in your voice with the same engine. Starter's the lighter plan: 12 posts a month, quick button edits, and your content calendar. Pro includes 20 posts a month, builds you a personalised content strategy, gives you unlimited edits, scheduling straight to LinkedIn, performance tracking, repurposing and "why this works" coaching.
You pay a one-off £5, with no subscription and no recurring charge, and you get 3 posts plus 30 days of full Pro access (everything except scheduling). If you don't subscribe within those 30 days, your account and content are permanently deleted, so subscribe any time during the trial to keep it all.
One piece is one generation, one rewrite, or one repurpose. When MyCopyPal asks "Are you ready?" in the conversation, clicking "Write post" uses one piece. Saving an idea before you generate is free. Edits don't count: Starter includes up to 5 quick edits per post, and Pro includes unlimited edits. Only generations, rewrites and repurposes use your allowance.
No. Your monthly pieces (12 on Starter, 20 on Pro) reset on the same date each month, based on when you subscribed. So quarterly, biannual and annual plans still get their full monthly allowance every month, not per billing cycle. If you've got pieces left at the end of the month, they don't carry forward.
Your £5 trial gives you 3 posts and 30 days of full portal access, and they're separate: using all 3 posts doesn't end your 30 days. Once you've used them, you'll see a prompt the next time you try to generate, rewrite or repurpose. You can carry on editing what you've already written for the rest of the 30 days.
You keep your whole portal in the meantime: your voice profile, intake answers, calendar and everything you generated stay exactly as they are.
At the end of the 30 days, if you haven't subscribed, your account and everything in it are permanently deleted. We'll email you reminders first. Subscribe any time before then and you keep the lot.
Yes. You can upgrade from Starter to Pro any time. It takes effect straight away and we prorate it, so you only pay the difference for the time left in your cycle. Downgrades from Pro to Starter take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, so you keep your Pro features until then. Switching onto Done-For-You works a little differently, because it's invoiced rather than paid by card: get in touch or complete the Done-For-You signup, and we'll cancel your current plan and discount any unused days off your first invoice.
There's no minimum contract. Starter and Pro are recurring subscriptions: whichever cycle you choose (monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly or annual), it renews automatically at the end of that period until you cancel, and the longer cycles are paid upfront for the period you've chosen. You can cancel any time before your next renewal date, you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Your piece count resets, your plan carries on, and you're charged for the next billing cycle. Your voice profile, content history and settings all stay the same.
No. The £5 trial and our subscriptions are non-refundable, so if you're not sure, start with the £5 trial before you commit to a plan. The one exception is the law: if MyCopyPal is genuinely faulty and we can't fix it in a reasonable time, you're covered under UK consumer law. Just email toni@mycopypal.com.
For Starter, Pro and the £5 trial, we accept all major credit and debit cards, handled securely through Lemon Squeezy. Done-For-You works differently: there's no card checkout. We invoice you directly, with payment due within 5 days, and your first batch is scheduled for delivery once that first invoice is paid.
Not right now. If you need a break, the best bet is to cancel and resubscribe when you're ready, and your portal and everything in it stays open in the meantime, so you pick up right where you left off. One thing to know: we may eventually close accounts that have been cancelled and dormant for a long time, but we'll always email you at least 14 days beforehand. So if you're planning to come back, drop us a line at toni@mycopypal.com and we'll make sure your account's kept safe.
You can keep using your subscription until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, you can't generate, rewrite or edit posts, but your portal stays open as a goodwill gesture, with no fixed cut-off date.
You can still read everything you've created, copy posts to LinkedIn, and reuse them as often as you like. Resubscribe any time your account's still open and you'll pick up right where you left off.
We do reserve the right to close accounts that stay cancelled and dormant for a long time, but we'll always give you at least 14 days' email notice first, with a link to download your content. See the Subscription Terms for the full detail.
Write your first 3 posts and see how easy it is.
