These terms apply to your use of mycopypal.com and the MyCopyPal platform. By creating an account or using our service, you're agreeing to these terms.
Antonia Heater, trading as MyCopyPal, a sole trader based at 6 Eighth Avenue, Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 9XD, operates mycopypal.com and MyCopyPal. References to "you" or "your" mean the person or business using our service.
MyCopyPal is a content generation tool. It uses AI to help you create LinkedIn posts based on information you provide about yourself and your business.
MyCopyPal is a tool to help you create content — it is not a substitute for your own judgment. You're responsible for reviewing everything it produces before you publish it. AI-generated content can contain errors, outdated information, or suggestions that aren't right for your specific situation.
You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure. You can only have one account per person or business.
If you're creating an account on behalf of a company, you're confirming that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
If you subscribe to our Done-For-You plan, you grant MyCopyPal permission to access your portal and generate content on your behalf. A member of our team will view your intake answers, voice profile, content history, and any other information held in your portal solely to create your monthly content. If you opt into scheduling, you connect your LinkedIn account through our scheduling partner so we can publish your posts on your behalf, with no password shared. You remain the owner of all content produced. The full delivery terms are set out on our Done-For-You Terms page.
On the Pro plan you can connect your LinkedIn account to schedule and publish posts. We use a third-party publishing provider, Zernio, to post on your behalf. When you connect, the authorisation that lets us post as you is held by Zernio; we never see or store your LinkedIn password. You are responsible for the content you choose to publish, and you can disconnect at any time. Publishing depends on LinkedIn and Zernio being available; a post can occasionally fail (for example if LinkedIn rejects it), in which case we will not mark it as published and you can try again or post manually. You agree not to:
MyCopyPal, including its underlying technology, algorithms, content generation systems, prompt architecture, voice profiling methods, validation systems, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Antonia Heater trading as MyCopyPal. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to the underlying technology beyond the right to use the service as described here.
Content generated through MyCopyPal using your account is yours. You own the output. We retain no rights over the content you generate, edit, and publish.
You agree not to:
If we reasonably believe you have breached any of the restrictions above, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account without notice or refund. We also reserve the right to pursue any legal remedies available to us under applicable law, including but not limited to claims under the Trade Secrets (Enforcement, etc.) Regulations 2018 and the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
MyCopyPal platform — including its software, design, prompts, and underlying systems — belongs to MyCopyPal. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
You own the content that MyCopyPal generates for you. Once generated, it's yours to use, edit, publish, and adapt as you like. We don't claim any ownership over your generated content.
You also retain ownership of the information you provide during setup. By providing it, you give us permission to use it to deliver the service and to improve how the engine works on your account.
By using MyCopyPal, you agree that we may analyse anonymised, aggregated data derived from content generated on the platform to improve the product and publish industry insights. This data will never be attributable to you individually.
By using MyCopyPal, you agree that MyCopyPal may use anonymised, aggregated data derived from your use of the service for marketing, research, and promotional purposes. This includes anonymised performance metrics, content statistics, and user-submitted information such as wins and feedback. No data used in this way will be attributable to you as an individual without your explicit prior consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Antonia Heater trading as MyCopyPal's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including lost profits, lost data, or reputational damage.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't be excluded under English law.
You can close your account at any time. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of closure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or cause harm to the platform or other users.
We'll try to give you reasonable notice of any changes that significantly affect how you use the service. We also reserve the right to change these terms — if we make material changes, we will email you.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
